The consultants should assess how ongoing electricity market design reforms in countries interconnected with the Nordic market—such as Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Poland—will impact the Nordics. These reforms, along with parallel grid developments, are expected to significantly affect market outcomes in the Nordic region. The consultants are expected to model this developments and their impact on the Nordic markets. The objective is to ensure that Nordic market design discussions take these external developments into account.

DEG under its "Up-scaling Programme" finances early-stage SMEs to scale innovative business models with high development impact. The funding is repayable once the companies reach predefined success criteria, such as a certain revenue, gross profit or amount of new funding raised. The programme is part of the "Partners in Transformation" initiative by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Since 2013, it has invested approximately EUR 55 million in 88 innovative young businesses. Since 2024 the active investment phase of the Up-scaling Programme has come to an end. This means, no new companies are financed but the existing portfolio still has to be actively monitored. In 2025, DEG has entrusted DEG Impulse with the management of the remaining Up-Scaling Programme on behalf of DEG. TenneT is implementing a cost-sharing initiative within the Capacity Calculation Region (CCR) Core, involving 16 Transmission System Operators (TSOs) across 13 European countries. This initiative is a vital element of the cross-border redispatching and countertrading coordination mechanism established under the Regional Operational Security Coordination (ROSC) framework. The European Central Bank (ECB) is seeking suitable candidates through this Call for Applications (CfA) that will be invited to participate in the negotiated procedure for the provision of works and services for the maintenance and development of the Environmental Management System at the ECB. The ECB envisages to award a single framework agreement with an initial duration of 36 months, with the possibility of extension for another 12 months (the ?Contract?). Decades of groundwater overexploitation have further exacerbated the situation, raising serious concerns about the long-term sustainability of the country"s water resources. The long-term planning of water-sector institutions does not fully address the challenges related to enduring resource availability. In 2024, Kenya ranked 121 out of 180 countries on Transparency International"s Corruption Perception Index underscoring the scale of the problem. Fiscal constraints continue to limit the government"s ability to deliver essential services. Public debt stands at 70.2% of GDP and domestic revenue generation remains low. The procurement project concerns the reengineering of public service delivery processes within Public Institution "Cadaster of Real Estate" (IP CBI) in the Republic of Moldova. The assignment is implemented under the GIZ-supported project "Attractive and Efficient Public Administration in Moldova".
