Norway – Attitude survey on ethnic and religious minorities 2025-2027

Description

The ministries are hereby announce a task of examining attitudes towards religious and ethnic minorities in Norway. The assignment is a follow-up of measures 45 in the government's "Action Plan against Racism and Discrimination—new efforts 2024-2027," measures 9 in the government's "Action Plan on Muslim Hostility 2025-2030 and measures 15 in the government's "Action Plan against Anti-Semitism." The assignment could also be seen as an extension to the three previous posture surveys "Anti-Semitism in Norway?" (2012), "Attitudes to Jews and Muslims in the Norway 2017" and "Attitudes to Jews and Muslims in Norway 2022," carried out by the Center for the Study of the Holocaust and localities. The assignment shall start in 2025 and be completed in 2027 with a deadline for submitting the final report by 1.12.2027. The assignment is financed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs, the Ministry of Local Government and Discrimination, the Ministry of Culture and Equality and the Ministry of Education and Research. The Ministry of Culture and Equality is the coordinating ministry. The financial limit for the project is up to NOK 3.3 million excluding VAT. Subject to the Norwegian Parliament ́s grant.
