The Directorate-General for Personnel (“DG PERS” or “the DG”) manages the human resources of the European Parliament. Thus, it helps ensure that the other Directorates-General of the European Parliament have the human resources necessary to carry out their work and to provide the Members of the European Parliament with the necessary support for the proper fulfilment of their mandate.
