I am a highly motivated and passionate individual with a wide range of professional experience in research, advocacy and policy, working in academia, NGO’s and the United Nations. I have specialist knowledge in Women, Peace and Security, Youth, Peace and Security, peacebuilding, gender equality, women and girls' rights, and women and girls’ leadership. I am passionate about intersectional feminism, sustainable development and inclusive peace.
Co-founding OGIP, a research, advocacy and outreach collective which works to make current structures, policy and practice in peace and security spaces more inclusive, intersectional and decolonised, and leading the organisation's work on policy and research.
Leading Plan UK’s policy and advocacy work on the importance of effective poverty-focused aid and priority issues affecting girls and young women, in particular in conflict and humanitarian contexts.
Ensuring meaningful youth participation and supporting youth advocacy in international frameworks on women and girls rights including Beijing+25, SDG Voluntary National Reviews and the High Level Political Forum.
Working in the Europe and Central Asia Regional office on cross-cutting areas of programme implementation, advocacy and research; managing donor funding processes; contributing to analytical preparations for the Beijing+25 anniversary; youth focal point for the region - supporting and facilitating youth advocacy; and working on the cross-regional programme 'Implementing Norms and Changing Minds'.

Supporting lead consultant on producing a desk review, policy briefing, and guidance note for the ICGBV to take to the Commission on the Status of Women conference in March 2018 on the topic of ‘Rural Women’s Empowerment’. This involved research on normative documents, grey literature, academic literature and grassroots examples to examine the links between gender-based violence, income, land, food and personal security and rural women’s empowerment. The policy brief produced was used to influence the official negotiations of the Agreed Conclusions.
