I am a highly motivated and passionate individual with a wide range of professional experience in research, advocacy and policy, working in academia, NGO’s and the United Nations. I have specialist knowledge in Women, Peace and Security, Youth, Peace and Security, peacebuilding, gender equality,  women and girls' rights, and women and girls’ leadership. I am passionate about intersectional feminism, sustainable development and inclusive peace.

Supporting lead consultant on producing a desk review, policy briefing, and guidance note for the ICGBV to take to the Commission on the Status of Women conference in March 2018 on the topic of ‘Rural Women’s Empowerment’. This involved research on normative documents, grey literature, academic literature and grassroots examples to examine the links between gender-based violence, income, land, food and personal security and rural women’s empowerment. The policy brief produced was used to influence the official negotiations of the Agreed Conclusions.
