Description

Description: The Children’s Society wishes to appoint an independent contractor to deliver economic evaluation activities, as outlined within this tender, for our national Prevention Programme (“the Programme”). The activities will cover 2023/24 (year 5 of the Programme) and 2024/25 (year 6). We welcome applicants to submit their view on methodology/approaches and encourage creative thinking.   The Children’s Society currently deliver the Programme, which is funded by the Home Office with a commitment to continue until March 2025. The Programme works nationally to tackle and prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) and Exploitation (CSE), Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking, on a regional and national basis across England and Wales. The selected supplier will be required to contract under The Children’s Society’s consultancy agreement and process any data in line with a signed data processing agreement. An Information Sharing Agreement will also be set up in the event of there being a need to share personal data. Three annual theory-based impact evaluations and one systems change evaluation have been undertaken since the Programme began in 2019 (the latter of which is the most recent published evaluation, conducted in 2022/23). These can be accessed at the bottom of our webpage here.

Contract Value: The total budget available across the two years is £120,000 (up to £60,000 in each year), inclusive of VAT.
