Description

Shine is commissioning a consultancy piece with a twofold purpose:
  1. To learn from other European countries that have made any elements of workplace wellbeing policies and frameworks mandatory and track and replicate their history of success.
  2. Demonstrate the effectiveness of workplace wellbeing policies and frameworks on the working population in Ireland, through a comparative analysis of improvements in organisations that have wellbeing frameworks, policies and guidelines versus those that don’t employ any of these elements.
Objectives of the Consultancy
  • To capture learning from different European countries that have made workplace mental health guidelines mandatory;
  • To suggest how some of that learning could be duplicated in Ireland;
  • To carry out a comparative analysis between workplaces that have mental health guidelines versus those that don’t focusing on the wellbeing of the working population;
  • To highlight specific examples of the benefits attached to the implementation of workplace mental health guidelines, for managers and employees (with and without lived experience of mental health challenges).
