Description

The Coordinator will facilitate the steering group’s objectives, which include establishing a shared vision for restorative justice in London, supporting the commission of a new service, and acting as a critical friend to MOPAC’s restorative justice provider.

The contract has a maximum value of £160,000 over a potential 2+1+1 year term, with an initial 2-year contract worth up to £80,000.

Aims:

The project aims to commission a Restorative Justice Steering Group Coordinator for the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC).

The steering group will work towards establishing a shared vision for restorative justice in London, supporting the commission of a new service, and acting as a critical friend to MOPAC’s restorative justice provider.

The group will also aim to improve referral pathways, increase the profile of restorative justice, deliver improved compliance with the Victims Code of Practice, increase the accessibility of the restorative justice services, and ensure high-harm/high-risk and vulnerable victims are considered in all actions taken to improve access to and delivery of restorative justice.
